The New Hampshire Telephone Museum in Warner NH.
Recently I visited the NH Telephone Museum (NHTM) as my entire career has been in the telecommunications Industry. I had heard that things had changed since my last visit years ago.
The location for NHTM in Warner NH is a 20-minute drive from my hometown of Concord NH.
It has been a few years since I last stopped in so I wanted to see how it has evolved and I was not disappointed. The staff informed me that a typical visitor can spend up to 3 hours as there is so much to see here.
The trip was a good reminder of my own experience in telecom in fact, a few of the cell phones featured here were donated by me to NHTM a few years ago.
I started out in Long Distance, worked for a local Telco, helped build an MNO from the ground up, moved into engineering and now focused on the RF wireless inbuilding DAS frontier.
For anyone working in any aspect of Telecom today, I hope you enjoy this trip to the museum and if you travel to NH please be sure to go there to learn about the early days of our shared industry.
Thank you
